I won't fuck us over

I've been listening to lots of music recently; both on the way to work and while at work (the joys of a single office). Music really is my first love. About 20 years ago I thought that by now I'd have my own dedicated listening room at home with very expensive hi-fi equipment. Instead I spend my time listening to songs on a player the size of matchbox that cost me £40 but sounds fantastic (a Sansa Clip+ if you are interested). Anyways when I am listening to music I am constantly compiling top fives (in true Rob from High Fidelity style) such as top five favourite songs with the word cow in. One list under constant consideration isn't in fact a top five. It's a top three. If you could only have the complete works of three artists/composers who would they be? Number 1 has been the same for a few years; Sigur Ros. The other two slots are notoriously difficult to fill and in the main remain vacant, uncommitted. However, I think I do now have a #2. Clearly I don't want to waste a slot on someone with only a couple of records. The release of The National's fifth album - High Violet - has finally earned them that place. It's another masterpiece. So they now sit at #2. The above is an old song, from their third album Alligator from 2005. It's a song of great intensity which this video really captures. Such a lucky little girl. And I love the way he changed to the words for her. Hey Tilda, sometimes a radio-edit is good.

My theory #17

I have this theory. In fact I have many but unlike Isaac Newton I think it prudent to keep the majority to myself.

It is as follows. That there are more number plates with the number 17 than the other 998 three digit possibilities (excluding the new format plates.

I saw two on the walk home from the station today for example. I would like to be able to prove this theory.
