I have 4 kids and I don’t really care (from my point of view) whether people without kids park in P&C spaces or not. I am pretty capable of getting 4 kids out of the car without damaging adjacent cars. It’s not much different in my opinion to being very fat and getting out of a car, and we don’t have space for fat people do we?

That said, I do think people who park in them without kids are being pretty arrogant. I am guessing the supermarkets own those spaces. They, the owner, have expressed a view as to how they want their property treated and used and people are just ignoring their (the owner’s wishes). That sort of behaviour, a lack of respect for the wishes of others, reflects pretty badly imo on those who do it. Do these people ignore don’t walk on the grass signs etc etc. Whether you agree with it is not the point imo, you would expect people to respect your wishes to what happens on your property, why not respect the wishes of other, in this case the supermarkets?
